Oral Surgeon Michael Daetwyler, DDS
Dr. Daetwyler grew up in Southern Indiana with 5 sisters and his father who was an ENT surgeon and mother who was a nurse. He spent many spring breaks and summers visiting his grandparents in Littleton, CO and dreamed of someday moving to Colorado. After high school, he spent two years on a religious mission in Madrid, Spain, and then returned to finish his degree in Microbiology at Brigham Young University.
Then, returning to Indiana, he received his dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He then completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the UCSF Fresno campus in California. He enjoyed learning a broad range of surgical procedures and was able to maintain his fluency in Spanish thanks to the large Hispanic population in that area.
Dr. Daetwyler is excited to have found a great office to join here in the charming town of Fort Collins. Out of the office he enjoys biking, gardening, hiking, and the occasional game of tennis. Mostly though, he and his wife just try to keep up with their three young boys.
